ABOUT

Kerris Spencer's journey in the world of textiles and surface design is nothing short of inspiring. Graduating from Buckinghamshire New University in 2012 with a BA(Hons) in Textiles and Surface Design, Kerris has developed a unique approach to materials and traditional techniques, specializing in knitted and constructed textiles. Her love for materials drives her to experiment with metal, rubber, latex, and vegan leather, creating beautiful handmade items for interiors, fashion, and accessories.

From Internships to Independent Designer

Post-graduation, Kerris honed her skills through several internships, including stints with Jimmy Choo, Zinc Knitwear studio and independent designer Michelle Lowe-Holder. In 2013, she transitioned into freelance work, creating bespoke fabrics and garments for private clients and students. This period was instrumental in shaping her distinctive style and commitment to craftsmanship.

Establishing Her Studio

In 2018, Kerris made a big leap by setting up her studio in Bristol, UK, with a clear goal in mind: crafting stylish and sustainable accessories. After some time determining her direction, in 2020 Kerris relaunched her brand, focusing on producing sustainable vegan fetish-inspired accessories. Each piece is carefully handmade, showcasing her commitment to excellence and precision.

Diverse Range of Handmade Accessories

Kerris's collections are nothing short of eclectic. She offers both custom-made and ready-to-wear items, ranging from earrings, collars, cuffs, and handbags to more substantial pieces like skirts, kilts, harnesses, waistcoats, and dresses. Each accessory is crafted using the highest quality vegan materials, fully lined with soft faux suede, and equipped with durable stainless steel or brass hardware.

Personal Touch and Attention to Detail

Kerris adds her unique touch to all her creations by carefully choosing materials to create a solid foundation for each design. She also incorporates delicate elements such as beads and hand-stitched details, bringing a soft touch to her overall style. On the other hand, the Masc collection is influenced by utilitarian aesthetics, blending intricate details with studs, bold colors, and heavy hardware to produce a daring and modern look for kink-inspired designs.

Customisation and Inclusivity

One of the standout features of Kerris's designs is their customisation options. She offers versatility in terms of colors and sizes, catering to the unique requirements of each customer. This inclusive approach ensures that her designs are accessible to a diverse clientele.
